There’s something special about the smell of warm muffins baking on a quiet morning. The way the blueberries burst with sweetness, the golden tops rising in the oven—it’s simple, comforting, and full of love. This Mother’s Day, why not bless your mom (or a mother figure in your life) with a homemade batch of blueberry muffins, baked straight from the heart?
In Proverbs 31, Scripture tells us that a virtuous woman is clothed with strength and dignity, and that her children rise and call her blessed. What a beautiful truth. Moms are often the quiet backbone of the home—nurturing, praying, giving, and serving tirelessly. This Mother’s Day, let’s rise up early (just like she often did for us) and make her feel special with something as sweet and thoughtful as these homemade muffins.
Whether served as part of a cozy brunch or wrapped up in a little basket with a handwritten card, these blueberry muffins are a small way to say “thank you” and “I love you.”
For the banana muffins I use our banana bread recipe and just put it into muffin tins. I’ll link the recipe below.
