One Year of Marriage: What I’ve Learned

This week we’re celebrating one year of marriage and so many days of love, growth, and learning. It’s hard to believe how quickly a year has flown by , but looking back, I can see just how much we’ve grown.

Marriage has taught me so much already. I’ve learned that love isn’t just a feeling, it’s a daily choice. Choosing patience when things don’t go my way. Choosing kindness when I’m tired. Choosing to communicate, even when it’s easier to stay quiet.

I’ve also learned the beauty of sharing everyday life with someone. The little things like morning coffee, inside jokes, quiet evenings, have become some of the sweetest parts of our story.

Of course, we’ve had our challenges, but every disagreement has taught us something new. We’re learning to give each other grace, to forgive quickly, and to never stop cheering each other on.

One year down, and I’m so thankful for all the memories that we’ve share together and all that we’ve experienced. Here’s to many more years of love, laughter, and growing in the Lord. 💍❤️

“Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.”

—1 Peter 4:8 (NIV)
