Finding my wedding dress

Since I was a little girl, I have dreamed of my wedding day. I remember Moriah and I had these picture boards that we filled with ideas for our weddings, hers was purple-themed, and mine was pink. Between layers of pink ruffles and bedazzled cars, we could hardly wait for the best days of our lives. We wrote all about Moriah’s dress experience, and now it is my turn!

The Inspiration

My wedding aesthetic is very traditional and classic, so I wanted the same for my dress. I knew going into the appointment that I liked strapless dresses, lace, and florals. I just wanted something feminine and delicate.

I was so happy to be able to choose my dress with my mom, Moriah, and my best friend Lindsey! (I was just missing our sister Sarah<3) Having their support and input helped me so much! I was so nervous that I was being too picky or that I wouldn’t find a dress I liked in my budget.

By the grace of God, I did find a perfect dress! And it was the perfect price. God answered my prayers and blessed me! I was able to take my dress home that day!

Wedding planning can be so fun, but also very stressful at times, I have already had moments of thinking ‘ Should we have just eloped?’. But I want to encourage you all (and myself) to trust that God will provide and just pray! There is so much power in prayer.

Love,

Hope

Spring into style: outfit inspiration for the spring season

Hi friends! There are few things more refreshing than the first signs of spring. The flowers begin to bloom, the sun lingers a little longer, and soft, warm breezes gently return—and suddenly, it’s time to shed the heavy coats and embrace lighter, lovelier layers.
Today, we’re sharing some of our favorite spring outfits to inspire your seasonal style.<3

For a classic elevated look, I paired a black shift dress with a patterned blazer and gold jewelry. The black dress is effortlessly chic, and my checkered blazer adds structure and polish to the outfit, making it perfect for church, meetings, or a lunch date! Hope’s outfit is perfect for days when you want a simple + chic outfit, the feminine fit and flare style is beautiful on its own, and can be dressed up or down with casual shoes, cardigan/blazers.

Stripes for spring, For this outfit, Moriah dressed up her jeans with a classic striped cardigan and sneakers- Perfect for an everyday look or running errands! I dressed my striped skirt by wearing a ribbed cotton tshirt and a vintage cameo necklace.

Dress in what delights You

This frilly, feminine top from Altar’d State is the perfect spring staple! Moriah paired it with jeans for a casual romantic look. Hope’s outfit is a blend of warmth and style with a hint of preppiness. The fleece tights and Chelsea boots keep things comfortable, and the structured sweater and skirt bring polish to the look.

As the days grow warmer, we hope these looks inspire you to dress in a way that feels fresh and joyful.

Thanksgiving outfit inspiration/plans

Hi friends! Hope here, I cannot believe Thanksgiving is this Thursday, this year has flown by.

I thought it would be fun to post some outfit inspiration for however you are spending your Thanksgiving ❤ This thanksgiving I am celebrating with my boyfriends family in Massachusetts. My boyfriend Michael planned a wonderful menu and I will be his sous chef for the day.

Now onto the outfits!

  • A vintage dress
  • There’s nothing i love more than a vintage dress, they do not make clothes like they used to!
  • A mini dress and a boot! I love these Dolce vita boots: they make every outfit <3. I paired the boots with this darling pastel dress from Reformation and a cardigan.
  • You can never go wrong with a floral dress and flats. I adore this floral dress from lulu’s and dolce vita flats.

My Thanksgiving outfit idea is a cozy sweater with these cute white Levi jeans and some nice leather boots.

For Thanksgiving, I’m celebrating with my husbands side of the family, my mother-in-law, my mother and some friends. And then later in the day, we’re going to stop by my father‘s house.

I hope you all have a wonderful Thanksgiving with your families and that you cherish your time together! I’m so Thankful for God’s mercy and kindness.

Love,

Hope & Moriah
