Hi friends! We thought it would be fun to kick things off with a little “get to know us” post. Here are six facts about us that were excited to share—because we’re all about connection and finding joy in the little things. Ready? Here we go!

Moriah

1. Jesus is My Anchor

First and foremost, I love Jesus with all my heart. He is my foundation, my hope, and my source of strength. Every part of my life is shaped by His love, and I’m passionate about growing in faith and sharing that joy with others. His grace and goodness inspire everything I do!

2. I love to be in the Kitchen

I absolutely love cooking and baking. There’s something so comforting about preparing a meal from scratch, and the process of cooking or baking is a little act of love I get to share with family and friends. Whether it’s trying a new recipe or making an old favorite, you’ll often find me in the kitchen with a big smile on my face.

3. I’m a newlywed

I recently got married July 26, 2024 to the love of my life, we had our dream wedding and we’re living our happily ever after in Alexandria, Va ❤️

4. I am a professional baker! Since I was a little girl I have adored baking, When I was around eleven years old, Our mom enrolled us into a home economics class, and It was the most fun I’ve ever had at school! From there on I learned to bake from trial and (lots of) error. At The Culinary Institute Of America I learned to perfect my baking skills. Recently I started experimenting with Sourdough and breads.

5. I am a dog lover, I have a Shih Tzu Poodle and she is my everything❤️

6. I Love to Share the Joy

Whether it’s through a blog post, a friendly chat, or sharing a sweet treat, I’m all about spreading joy. Life can be tough, but I believe that little moments of joy—whether it’s a delicious homemade cookie or a word of encouragement—can make a big difference. I hope this space becomes a place where we can inspire each other and celebrate the beauty of life.

Hi Friends! I’m here today with an amazing granola bar recipe, I loved those Chewy granola bars as a kid, but now that I’m older and more conscious about reading food labels, I tend to shy away from store bought granola bars. At the bakery where I work we make granola bars that are loved by all, So this past weekend I set out to create a granola bar recipe that was equally delicious but much better for you.
